About
Born in Geelong in 1975, Jill Green is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is deeply inspired by the natural world, found objects, nostalgia, human connection, and the written word.
She studied Visual Arts at the Gordon Institute of TAFE (1993–1995), majoring in Photography and Printmaking, and later completed studies in Arts (History) and Social Work at Deakin University (1998–2004).
Jill’s works are held in both private and public collections, including Charles Sturt University and the National Gallery of Australia. After a reflective period living in the Gippsland Ranges, she returned to Geelong, where she continues her studio practice and runs art and education workshops for children and adults.
